Car 76 is a Bombardier Cityrunner ADT has a large tram fleet. Here are cars 9 and 43. 9 is an open top 'Balloon' used on the Guide Friday Blackpool coastal tour and 43 is an ex Glasgow Coronation. All the tram models here are shown on my tramway layout which is called Eggenchester. 134 a former Melbourne W class car. The Market Square in Eggenchester - complete with Martian tripod statue Eggenchester Bus/Tram/Coach interchange The Iron Bridge and Eggenchester nudist beach Eggenchester has a Hiperdino supermarket, a chain more commonly associated with Gran Canaria!! Eggenchester tram depot. L33 seen on lower dock street ADT Also operates in the Blackpool area. Services between Blackpool and Preston are marketed as 'Route Rouge'. Transfers were again produced on the PC and are seen here on PD2 No L20. More examples of my home produced transfers on Blackpool based TDL59 and TA78. Put together from scrap diecast and white metal parts is L136, a bit of an oddity!! ADT's schoolbus fleet now all adorn a base yellow livery. Seen here is Leyland National LN20. Pullman 107 was scratchbuilt from brass and white metal parts. Motor 77 and trailers 78-9, an oldtime German set 84 is a former Southampton car 110 is a former Kingston upon Hull 'Kipperbox' car. 132 is a new car built to look like a 'Turret' car. 125 is an ex Lytham crossbench double decker. 133 was built from various scrap parts. Whilst 131 is an ex Lytham enclosed car. 44 is an ex Dundee car 39 is an ex Toronto PCC Motor 21 and Trailer 22 are an ex Blackpool Twin Car set. 104 is an East Lancs built 'Centenary' 80 is an ex Brighton open topper A few Bristol VR's are retained in fleet. Here in full Brighton Blue Bus livery is VR147. Brighton Blue Bus was swallowed up by ADT in 1997. Still operating in Brighton is LA1 former bluebus No1 an East Lancs bofdied Atlantean. L29 is an ex Brighton PD2 and forms part of the Brighton Heritage fleet. Morris Dancers in Dock Street, Eggenchester Eggenchester is the name of my model tram layout. This is the haunted house. The Schwebebahn passes over the woods. More examples of PC produced transfers seen here on VLA2 an Alexander bodied Volvo B10TL. Modern lowfloor buses also appear now in large numbers. DB102 is a Mercedes-Benz Citaro G, seen here in yellow/ivory livery used for the Angus area operations. Also a resin kit by my good friend Alan Johnson. LA247 is an ex Merseyside Alexander bodied Atlantean and is showing my PC produced lettering. Cunarder 53 and Coronation 43 seen on the Iron Bridge Half-cabs still play a large part in ADT's bus fleet. A2 is an AEC Bridgemaster in special livery for the coastal 123 service from Dundee to Montrose which requires 'lowheight' double decks. Transfers were produced on the PC!! AEC Renown A3 also in route 123 livery. Guide Friday is a major part of ADT's operations. Narrow 7'6 DD105 a former Hong Kong Dennis Dragon in red/ivory 'Fife' area livery, sporting home produced transfers. Another bus on the 123 is DLN1 a Dennis Loline. Also on the 123 is Bristol Lodekka FS No FS25 G1 is a GAC Bombardier DD. This model is a resin kit. The Guide Friday graphics are handwritten - now superceded by PC produced transfers. L137 is an RTW and seen here in pre WW2 LT livery, this model forms part of my London Heritage Fleet. Another resin kit, L139 is a typical double decker built for the Govt Transport department of New South Wales, Australia. In this case on a Leyland Titan OPD2 chassis. Seen here working on my Guide Friday Wellington tour. L49, part of the London based 'Chalk Farm Buses' operation. Seen here in 'Schillibear' livery ADT also operates on the island of Gran Canaria. L56 however is not normal fare but a heritage vehicle, most operations on the island are coverred by lowfloor buses. LA243, a former Sydney Atlantean. Another resin kit and seen here whist stll receiving lettering. A number of ex Hong Kong tri-axle buses have been sourced. Seen here with a large portion of its roof missing is Metrobus ML19.

No1 on a rare outing onto the 49's - amazin what ya can get for a fag! No1 again - on the Lewes Rd next the depot TYJ3S, ex 3 - before she became HNP154S No4 - after another rare outing on 49's - the last time i drove a Brighton Blue Bus atlantean, feb 1998 - until that is i got me hands on former No3 with Guide Friday in 2000! No4 in Westdene No7 on the 11's in Hangleton 8 at Westdene 9 at Hangleton Wasnt very often the AN68's strayed away from 10/11's and 50's - so it was nice one sunday evening to be allowed to take one out on 'back street' runs, East Saltdean, terminus of the 57A No11 at the Hangleton terminus of the - erm - 11!! No12 at Westdene 13 in Hangleton 13 with a new front livery and a new number, Westdene - terminus of the 10 as was Newley repainted No13 in Hangleton - the livery dont look right, and what a waste of money - she was sold with the rest around 6 months later! 15, Hangleton 26, Hangleton 27, Clock Tower - bein driven by the very sexy Tony 30 seen in Lewes Rd depot yard Lynx 49 just before being re-numberred Oops! No68 - the EFE bus! 71 at the Westdene terminus of route 10 Eastbourne 82 seen in there depot 87 in Woodingdean 94, on the 11 at Hangleton 96 at Lewes Rd Depot I was the first BBB driver to take one of these out in service - what a come down from our Nationals! Top of Westdene. In response to a comment on this foto, it was common practice in Blue Bus days to change blinds at the top of Westdene, the Westdene end being worked as a large LOOP with the 'terminal' stand being halfway round, the top of Westdene being the start of the loop, the only time the blinds were not changed at this point was when terminating here and running light back to depot. 126, ex 26 at the top of Westdene ex 26 in Lower Bevendean The former 28 in her new guise. Hollingbury ASDA, B&H were quick to give Lewes Rd an allocation on the 24/26 29 after renumbering, Hangleton The former 48 at hangleton Ex 49 in deepest Saltdean 192 at the Hangleton terminus of route 11 194 ex 94 at Goldstone Valley ex 95 in the depot The SLF's wernt re-numberred, 202 seen here at Westdene, meant for the 49 they quite often strayed! 208 in Southwick 209, East Moulescoombe 210 on Lewes Rd 211 also on Lewes Rd 214 in a short lived purple and gold version of B&H livery 214 in Furze Hill 217 seen before renumberring 228, seen at the Hangleton terminus of route 11, however, the route was axed before these buses were deliverred, now what was i doing there?! 236, Higher Bevendean 259 seen in Furze Hill, BBB was quickley given some VR's to cover the indecent haste of quick repaints of BBB stock into B&H garb 259, Hollingdean 261, Clock Tower 272 at the Old Steine on a council funded evening back roads service 272, Clock Tower

B&H, 1999. In response to a comment on this pic, the badge is mine, issued to me by the DVLC when i passed my PSV test way back in 1983. I wore it regardless of which operator i worked for, even tho they are now no longer a legal requirement and i will never get rid of it!! 2005, Bradshaws Travel, Very nice semi-auto Tiger, this is the last bus I will ever drive now that I have lost my license thru ill-health. Foto found on B&H's website 1997, Brighton Blue Bus No7, tho with B&H names! I know its me - i was the only driver to have the timecard in the cab window this way! I know this is me, the door is open, and if you look closely - there are many badges being worn by the driver - I was the only driver at HT to wear many badges and the only HT driver to leave doors open - 1990.
